I’m Dr. Jackline Ngalame, a board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with certifications in General, Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry. Since 2015, I’ve been committed to providing compassionate psychiatric care through both in‑person and virtual settings. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and evidence‑based. I work closely with my patients, their families, and other health professionals to create individualized, person‑centered treatment plans. I believe in combining medication management, psychotherapy, and supportive care to help each person achieve lasting emotional wellness. I have a special interest in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, postpartum mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, sleep disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders (including Suboxone treatment when appropriate). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, traveling, meeting new people, exploring new places, and cheering for my favorite basketball and tennis.Professional Experience & Approach
Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I gained extensive experience working with patients of all ages in inpatient psychiatric settings. This exposure deepened my dedication to mental health care and inspired me to pursue advanced education and training. Since completing my graduate education, I’ve provided comprehensive psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. These experiences have strengthened my passion for delivering compassionate, person‑centered, and accessible care to individuals and families. I currently provide telepsychiatry services across multiple states, offering evidence‑based online mental health care to support clients wherever they are. I collaborate with my patients to treat a variety of conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), bipolar disorders, and substance use disorders.
